Gold Coast Fencing
A good fence does more than mark a boundary—it adds privacy, frames your yard and lifts the overall look of your space. At Turnscape Landscaping, we install practical, well-finished fencing across the Gold Coast that’s made to last.
Whether you need to replace an old timber fence, put up a side screen, or close in a new build, we can help. We work with materials that suit the conditions, match the look of your yard and offer the level of privacy you’re after.
Our team handles the job from start to finish, including post setting, alignment and clean-up. Every fence is installed with care and straight edges—no gaps, no wobbles.
For fencing that’s secure, functional and done properly the first time, call Turnscape Landscaping on 0416 779 477.
Straight Lines, Solid Results
Fencing should blend into the space while doing its job quietly in the background. We focus on getting the build right so you don’t have to think about it again.
Here’s what matters in every fence we install:
- Site Conditions: We check levels, soil and layout before digging the first hole.
- Measurements: Accurate post placement means a straight, balanced finish.
- Durability: Materials and build suited to withstand sun, rain and regular wear.
- Privacy & Use: Fence height and style based on what the space needs.
- Clean Edges: Each fence ends with a tidy finish—no jagged cuts or leaning lines.
Let’s sort out your fencing and keep your yard secure and sharp-looking.
What type of fence is best for privacy?
For full privacy, solid panel options like Colorbond or hardwood fencing are ideal. They have no gaps between boards and typically range from 1.8 to 2.1 metres high.
Timber paling fences can also offer good coverage, especially with overlapping boards. If style matters too, you can look into slatted designs with reduced spacing or decorative screening panels.
How long does a typical fence last?
That depends on the material and local conditions. Treated pine fences generally last around 10–15 years with proper care. Hardwood and Colorbond options can last 20 years or more.
Factors like exposure to weather, soil movement and maintenance (like sealing or repainting) will influence how long the fence holds up. Regular inspections help catch issues early.
Do I need council approval to build a fence?
In many areas, you won’t need council approval for a standard boundary fence up to 2 metres high. However, different rules may apply if the fence is on a corner block, near a pool, or taller than usual.
Always check your local council’s guidelines before starting. It's also good practice to discuss the plan with any neighbours affected.
